Finally all set up! Working on WIFI. Driving the remote is easy on my local WIFI, a little bit delayed on the slower clunkier WFI at the docks (the WFI delay is at fault), but even this I learned in a few minutes, just move elevation and traverse in quick presses, waiting for the delayed response to finish. This way you avoid overshoot. I-phone App works very well, and I mounted on a pole mount adapter with a telescoping bracket also on Amazon. I did mod the telescoping bracket I purchased on Amazon a bit to get full 90 degree motion to mount camera level. That makes it easier to point at a specific target at a set height without adjusting both elevation and traverse at the same time to acquire a view. Motion detection is adjustable and works well. I intend to set up cloud storage.
I love the quality and ability to check on things when not on site. This will be a real test of the unit. Even though it is 12+ feet up a radar mast so not in seawater, the harbor is a pretty harsh windy environment. I did seal the solar cell plug connection with good electronic silicone dielectric paste just to be sure no moisture intrudes into the plug socket. It shouldn't harm the seal material and should provide extra durability.

I looked a long time at many units and selected this camera based on reviews and matching up directly to a phone and WIFI. Very pleased so far.

La única pega que le puedo poner es en cuanto a compatibilidad con Tuya o Smart Life, ya que tengo todo el ecosistema de mi hogar vinculado a Smartlife y me sería muy cómodo poder manejarla desde ahí. Pero eso es una preferencia personal, no es un defecto del artículo. En cualquier caso la aplicación propia que tiene funciona correctamente.

First of all this camera can produce a great HD image when everything is working well. Sometimes things like spiderwebs, moisture and other things can interfere with night vision since the IR LED reflects back and produces distortions. On a perfect day you get about30-40feet of illumination.
Motion detection can be iffy, it is often sensitive enough to pick up a chicken walking by but can miss a car in bad lighting situations. It can be adjusted from 1-10. The app is a bit clunky but works well and is free. you can save short videos with a micro SD card....Love the Tilt and pan function!

Like I said its a neat little camera for the price and you might even catch the occasional bear walking around your house :)

This is my second Boifun solar camera, I posted a positive review of that similar camera last summer. It has been in use for about a year and a half and continues to work flawlessly.

The new camera is very similar and was just as easy to install and use with good results. It has added small flood lights alarm features which could be helpful and it cost about half as much as the first one. This camera was more difficult to register for the warranty with a third party involved but it has been taken care of now. I continue to be very satisfied with the performance and value of this product.

Had brought a camera that looked just like this one, was more money, didnt charge. I had to use power banks. And I had to keep unplugging them. I have 2 of these. They are amazing. The only fault is I cant turn the sound down. But apart from that they are faultless.
